Scaffolding for upper levels

The scaffolding is up for the builders to start the upper levels. They also have the formwork in place for the suspended concrete deck at the front to be poured. The deck should be done this week and the framework for upper levels will be delivered. Site superviser said the upper framework will be going up next week and then the brick layers will be back to complete the brickwork after that. I'm thinking if all goes well the frames windows and brickwork for the whole house should be done within a few weeks.

Lower Level Frames Windows and Brickwork

Here are a heap of photos of the lower level frames windows and start of brick work.

Frames and Windows up

The site superviser called and said all the lower level frame work and windows are now up. The bricks have been delivered and the lower level brickwork should be happening in the next few days. Will put in some photos of all this soon. We also saw that we have a front yard tap and an electricity meter box.

Slab Finished

Slab has been laid and is finished today. Can see the parts sticking out at the side for the hot water heater and water tank. Can also see the rectangle area of slab sticking out at the back for the in wall fish tank to sit on. Is 3 meters long by 60cm wide and will be 1 meter high showing through the middle of the wall of the home theatre room. Access to the tank will be from behind the home theatre room in the sub floor area underneath the middle level of the house and behind the garage/foyer/home theatre room. Has been a bit of rain today to stop the slab drying out too quickly....a good thing we have been told to stop any cracking happening.
