I thought now was an ok time to start a blog because if all goes well there will be things to put on here regularly.
We are building on a sloping (up from the road) 1300m2 block with views of Lake Macquarie and the mountains. The house design is Montgomery Homes "Mediterranean 2"
Finally council has approved the DA without any probs and so we can now sign the contract for the house and things can start moving. For now we are waiting to get the block cleared where the house will be built. Have pegged out the area to be cleared and marked the big trees to be removed. We are using Newcastle Earth Moving to do the clearing who have quoted us $1500 for the lot. (pretty good I think)
